حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَا: ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ، قَالَا: ثنا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ، أَنَّ سَهْلَ بْنَ حُنَيْفٍ، حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ أَعَانَ مُجَاهِدًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، أَوْ غَارِمًا فِي عُسْرَتِهِ، أَوْ مُكَاتِبًا فِي رَقَبَتِهِ، أَظَلَّهُ اللهُ فِي ظِلِّهِ يَوْمَ لَا ظِلَّ إِلَّا ظِلَّهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Hunayf (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever helps a mujahid in the path of Allah, or a debtor in his hardship, or a mukatab slave in (paying for) his freedom, Allah will shade him in His shade on the Day when there is no shade but His shade."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْخُزَاعِيُّ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ قَالَا: ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ نَبِيِّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ أَعَانَ مُجَاهِدًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، أَوْ غَارِمًا فِي عُسْرَتِهِ، أَوْ مُكَاتَبًا فِي رَقَبَتِهِ، أَظَلَّهُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِي ظِلِّهِ يَوْمَ لَا ظِلَّ إِلَّا ظِلَّهُ»
