Sayyiduna Humayd bin Thawr al-Hilali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that when he became Muslim, he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and recited these verses:
"My heart has become inclined towards Sulayma, whether by mistake or deliberately.
From an hour that was not merely an hour of sitting, so it took up its care like a stout, sturdy camel.
You see the buckets for drawing water with ropes tied firmly upon them; from their watering, plump plants like dolls have grown.
When the mirage spreads across the desert, and the water that appears seems like a sea.
Returning like the return of a chief, who sought a place of lying in wait.
No physician among you can ever cure me; I strove in what was necessary and found it.
Until I came to the Chosen One, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), who recites from Allah a Book that guides."

The narrator said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) appointed a man as commander of an expedition. When he returned, he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked him: "How did you find leadership?" He said: I remained just like the rest of the people; when I mounted, they mounted, and when I dismounted, they dismounted. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, the holder of authority stands at the door of hardship, except the one whom Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, protects." The man said: By Allah! I will never work for you nor for anyone else. The narrator said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) laughed so much that his (peace and blessings be upon him) molar teeth became visible.
