Sayyiduna al-Harith bin Abdullah bin Aws al-Thaqafi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I asked Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) about a woman who performs tawaf of the House and then gets her menses. He said: "Her last act should be the tawaf of the House." Al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) also gave me this same ruling. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "May some harm befall your hand! You asked me about the very thing you had already asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about, perhaps in the hope that I would contradict it."

Sayyiduna al-Harith bin Abdullah al-Thaqafi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever performs Hajj or Umrah, his last act should be the tawaf of the House." At this Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: May harm befall your hand! You heard this from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and did not tell me?
