حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْمُؤَدِّبُ، ثنا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ تَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ ثُمَّ تَحِيضُ، قَالَ: «لِيَكُنْ آخِرَ عَهْدِهَا الطَّوَافُ بِالْبَيْتِ» . فَقَالَ الْحَارِثُ: كَذَلِكَ أَفْتَانِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. فَقَالَ عُمَرُ: «أَرِبْتَ عَلَى يَدِكَ، سَأَلْتَنِي عَنْ شَيْءٍ قَدْ سَأَلْتَ عَنْهُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَيْمَا أُخَالِفُ»
Sayyiduna al-Harith bin Abdullah bin Aws al-Thaqafi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I asked Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) about a woman who performs tawaf of the House and then gets her menses. He said: "Her last act should be the tawaf of the House." Al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) also gave me this same ruling. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "May some harm befall your hand! You asked me about the very thing you had already asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about, perhaps in the hope that I would contradict it."
