Al-Dahhak bin Abdullah bin Khalid bin Hizam narrated from Hakim bin Hizam (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of Hunayn he assisted (the army) with two horses, and both of them were lost. So he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! My two horses have been lost; compensate me for them. He (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him something; he asked for more and he gave him more; then he asked for more again and he gave him more. At that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This wealth is green and sweet. Whoever asks people, they give to him, and the one who asks is like one who eats but is never satisfied."
