Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray Asr roughly the way you pray it, and he used to pray Maghrib roughly the way you pray it, and he used to pray Isha somewhat later than your prayer. And Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) used to delay (the call to prayer for) Zuhr until the sun had passed its zenith; he did not deviate from the time. As for the iqamah, sometimes the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would come out and hasten it, and sometimes he would delay it.
