حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ حَمْدَوَيْهِ الصَّفَّارُ، ثنا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الرَّقَاشِيُّ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ، ثنا وَهْبٌ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ حَرْمَلَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ هِنْدَ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَسْمَاءَ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ، قَالَ: بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ، فَقَالَ: «ائْتِ قَوْمَكَ فَمُرْهُمْ أَنْ يَصُومُوا هَذَا الْيَوْمَ» قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَا أُرَانِي آتِيهِمْ حَتَّى يَطْعَمُوا، قَالَ: «مُرْ مَنْ طَعِمَ مِنْهُمْ أَنْ يَصُومَ بَقِيَّةَ يَوْمِهِ»
Sayyiduna Asma' bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent me on the day of Ashura and said: "Go to your people and command them to fast this day." I said: O Messenger of Allah, I think I will reach them only after they have eaten. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Command whoever among them has eaten to fast the rest of his day."
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، ثنا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ، ثنا أَبُوكَ غَيْلَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَسْمَاءَ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاضِعًا يَدَهُ أُرَاهُ عَلَى فَخِذِهِ، يُشِيرُ بِأُصْبُعِهِ فِي التَّشَهُّدِ»
Sayyiduna Asma' bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placing his hand, I think on his thigh, and pointing with his finger in the tashahhud."
وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ إِلَى مَنْزِلِهِ إِذَا سَلَّمَ»
Through the same chain, Sayyiduna Asma' bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), after giving the salam, turn away from his left side towards his house."
