حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَجَلِيُّ، ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ الطَّائِفِيِّ، عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ، قَالَ: «أَقَمْنَا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نِصْفَ شَهْرٍ، فَرَأَيْتُهُ يَنْفَتِلُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، وَرَأَيْتُهُ يَنْفَتِلُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ، وَرَأَيْتُ نَعْلَيْهِ، لَهُ قِبَالَانِ»
Sayyiduna Aws bin Aws al-Thaqafi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We stayed with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for half a month. I saw him (peace and blessings be upon him) turn away (after the prayer) from his right side, and I also saw him (peace and blessings be upon him) turn away from his left side, and I saw his (peace and blessings be upon him) sandals; they had two straps.
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، قَالَا: أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا قَيْسُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ عُمَيْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْخَثْعَمِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ الطَّائِفِيِّ، عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، قَالَ: «أَقَمْتُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نِصْفَ شَهْرٍ، فَرَأَيْتُهُ يُصَلِّي، وَعَلَيْهِ نِعَالَانِ مُقَابِلَتَانِ، وَرَأَيْتُهُ يَبْزُقُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ»
Sayyiduna Aws bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I stayed with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for half a month. I saw him (peace and blessings be upon him) praying while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was wearing sandals with two straps, and I saw him (peace and blessings be upon him) spit to his right and his left.
