حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، أَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا جَعَلَ اللهُ مَنِيَّةَ عَبْدٍ بِأَرْضٍ إِلَّا جَعَلَ لَهُ فِيهَا حَاجَةً»
Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When Allah Almighty decrees that a servant will die in a certain land, He gives him some need that draws him to that very land."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ثنا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَزْرَةَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّهُ «كَانَ رَدِيفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَلَمْ تَرْفَعْ رَاحِلَتُهُ رِجْلَهَا عَادِيَةً حَتَّى أَتَى جَمْعًا»
Sayyiduna Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) related that he was riding behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and his (peace and blessings be upon him) mount did not lift its foot in a run until he reached Muzdalifah.
