حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْقُطَعِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ الْبُرْجَانِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ مُجَاهِدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُجَاهِدٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى وَأَبُو مَعْمَرٍ، قَالَ: عَلَّمَنِي ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ التَّشَهُّدَ وَقَالَ: عَلَّمَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ وَالصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِ اللهِ الصَّالِحِينَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ، اللهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْنَا مَعَهُمْ، اللهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَأَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ، اللهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَيْنَا مَعَهُمْ، صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ وَصَلَاةُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ الْأُمِّيِّ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْهِ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) taught me: "All reverences, prayers and pure words are for Allah alone. O Prophet, peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is His servant and His Messenger. O Allah, send Your mercy upon Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and the people of his household, as You sent mercy upon Ibrahim; indeed, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious. O Allah, send Your mercy upon us along with them. O Allah, send Your blessings upon Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and the people of his household, as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim; indeed, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious. O Allah, send Your blessings upon us along with them. May the mercies of Allah and the supplications of the believers be upon Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), the unlettered Prophet; peace be upon him, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings."
