Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9798 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When one

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا شَكَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَلْيَتَحَرَّ الصَّوَابَ، وَلْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you has a doubt in his prayer, let him seek out what is correct, and perform the two prostrations of forgetfulness (sahw) while sitting."
