حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَنَّ مَعْقِلَ بْنَ مُقَرِّنٍ الْمُزَنِيَّ، جَاءَ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ جَارِيَةً لَهُ زَنَتْ، قَالَ: «اجْلِدْهَا خَمْسِينَ» ، قَالَ: لَيْسَ لَهَا زَوْجٌ، قَالَ: «إِسْلَامُهَا إِحْصَانُهَا»
Ibrahim narrated that Ma'qil bin Muqarrin al-Muzani came to Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: A slave woman of mine has committed fornication. He said: "Give her fifty lashes." He said: She has no husband. He said: "Her Islam is her ihsan (chaste status)."
