Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9464 — he said: Soon there will be rulers

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقَتَّاتُ، ثنا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ صِلَةَ بْنِ زُفَرَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: «إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ يَدَعُونَ مِنَ السُّنَّةِ مِثْلَ هَذِهِ، فَإِنْ تَرَكْتُمُوهَا جَعَلُوهَا مِثْلَ هَذِهِ، فَإِنْ تَرَكْتُمُوهَا جَاءُوا بِالطَّامَّةِ الْكُبْرَى»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "Soon there will be rulers who will abandon this little (a small part) of the Sunnah; if you put up with that, they will increase it; then if you put up with that as well, they will bring the greatest calamity."
