Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9054 — , regarding the saying of Allah Almighty

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، {وَذَا النُّونِ إِذْ ذَهَبَ مُغَاضِبًا} [الأنبياء: ٨٧] ، قَالَ: «هُوَ عَبْدٌ أَبَقَ مِنْ سَيِّدِهِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said, regarding the saying of Allah Almighty: "And (remember) the man of the fish (Yunus, peace be upon him), when he went off in anger" [Surah al-Anbiya: 87]: "He was a servant who ran away from his master."
