Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8295 — In the year of the Conquest of Makkah

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: In the year of the Conquest of Makkah, Abu Quhafah was brought - or he came himself - and his head and beard were like thugham (white grass), so it was ordered that he be sent to his womenfolk, and he said: "Change (its colour) with something."
