Sayyiduna Tikhfah bin Qays al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him), who was one of the People of the Suffah, narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O so-and-so, take this one with you; O so-and-so, take this one with you," until I remained as the fourth of four. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to us: "Come along." So we went until we came to the house of Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Aishah! Feed us." She brought a dish of greens and we ate. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Aishah! Feed us." She brought hays (a mixture of dates and ghee) the size of a qata bird. Then he said: "Aishah! Give us something to drink." She brought a small cup of milk. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to us: "If you wish, spend the night here, and if you wish, go into the mosque." We said: "We will go to the mosque." Then, while I was sleeping on my stomach at the time of suhur (before dawn), a man pushed me with his foot and said: "Like this (lie properly), for this way of lying is disliked by Allah, the Mighty and Majestic." I raised my head and saw that it was the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
