Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8155 — from his father: In the time
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِشَامِ بْنِ أَبِي الدُّمَيْكِ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، ثنا أَبُو مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: «كَانَ الرَّجُلُ إِذَا أَسْلَمَ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَّمُوهُ الصَّلَاةَ»
Abu Malik al-Ashja'i narrates from his father: "In the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when a man accepted Islam, he would be taught the prayer."
