حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَزَّارُ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ، ثنا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ خَلَفٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُجَدِّدَ أَنْصَابَ الْحَرَمِ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Aswad bin Khalaf (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him, in the year of the Conquest of Makkah, to renew the boundary markers of the Haram.
