Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8111 — Sayyiduna Umar used to say: The blood

Sa'id bin al-Musayyib narrates that Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say: The blood money belongs to the 'aqilah (the paternal kinsmen), and a wife does not inherit anything from the blood money of her husband; until Sayyiduna al-Dahhak bin Sufyan al-Kilabi (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote to him: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the wife of Ashyam al-Dibabi inheritance from the blood money of her husband."
