Muan bin Rifaah al-Salami from Ali bin Yazid
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7841 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever
حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنِي مُعَانُ بْنُ رِفَاعَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ بَعَّدَ اللهُ بَيْنَهُ، وَبَيْنَ جَهَنَّمَ مَسِيرَةَ مِائَةِ عَامٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever fasts one day in the path of Allah, Allah places a distance of a hundred years between him and Hell."
