حَدَّثَنَا بُجَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيَّ يَقُولُ: كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي غَزَاةٍ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ كَانَ مُضَعَّفًا فَلْيَرْجِعْ» ، فَجَعَلَ النَّاسُ يَتَرَاجَعُونَ، فَتَضَايَقَ الطَّرِيقُ، فَوَقَفَ بِرَجُلٍ بَعِيرُهُ، فَأُتِيَ بِهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَلَمَّا أَخْبَرَ عَنْهُ، أَبِي أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْهِ، وَدَعَا بِلَالًا، فَقَالَ: لَبَّيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «نَادِ بِهَا، إِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ لَا تَحِلُّ لِعَاصٍ»
وَإِنَّ «الْحُمُرَ الْأَهْلِيَّةَ حَرَامٌ، وَكُلُّ سَبُعٍ ذِي ظُفُرٍ أَوْ ذِي نَابٍ»
وَإِنَّ «الْحُمُرَ الْأَهْلِيَّةَ حَرَامٌ، وَكُلُّ سَبُعٍ ذِي ظُفُرٍ أَوْ ذِي نَابٍ»
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah al-Bahili (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on a military expedition, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is weak, let him go back." So the people began to turn back, and the road became narrow, and a man's camel stopped with him. He was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and when he (peace and blessings be upon him) was told about him, he (peace and blessings be upon him) refused to lead the prayer over him. He called Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: Here I am, O Messenger of Allah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Announce this: Paradise is not lawful for a disobedient one."
