Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7670 — from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah

Through the same chain, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, when a Muslim falls ill, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, reveals to His angels: O My angels, I have bound My servant with one of My bonds. If I take his soul, I will forgive him; and if I restore him to health, this body will be forgiven, pure of sins."
