Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7669 — from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah that a man came

Through the same chain, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wearing a brass ring. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "What is this ring?" He said: (It is) to protect against al-wahinah (an ailment causing weakness of the arm and shoulder). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Listen! It only increases you in weakness."
