حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ خَالَوَيْهِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ، قَالَ: «مَنْ مَشَى إِلَى صَلَاةٍ مَكْتُوبَةٍ فِي الْجَمَاعَةِ، فَهِي كَحَجَّةٍ، وَمَنْ مَشَى إِلَى صَلَاةِ تَطَوُّعٍ فَهِي كَعُمْرَةٍ تَامَّةٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever walks to an obligatory prayer in congregation, it is like a Hajj; and whoever walks to a voluntary prayer, it is like a complete Umrah."
