حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ، ثنا بَكَّارُ بْنُ تَمِيمٍ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ آَخَى بَيْنَ النَّاسِ، وَآخَى بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) established brotherhood between the people, and also established brotherhood between himself and Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him).
