وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ: «إِذَا أُنْكِحَتِ امْرَأَةٌ يَنْكِحُهَا رَجُلَانِ شَتًّى , كِلَاهُمَا مَوْلًى فَأَحَقُّ النَّاكِحَيْنِ أَوَّلُهُمَا، وَالْبَيْعُ إِذَا ابْتَاعَ رَجُلَانِ سِلْعَةً وَاحِدَةً فَإِنَّ أَحَقَّهُمَا بِهَا أَوَّلُهُمَا»
Through the same chain, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: "If two different men give a woman in marriage, and both of them are her guardians, then the one who married her first has the greater right; and likewise in buying and selling: if two men buy one and the same item, the one of them who bought it first has the greater right to it."
