وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ: «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَنْهَى عَنِ الشِّغَارِ بِالنِّسَاءِ»
Through the same chain, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to forbid the exchange marriage of women, shighar (marrying one woman in exchange for the marriage of another, an exchange without dowry).
