وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ بَاعَ أَرْضًا أَوْ دَارًا، فَإِنَّ جَارَ الْأَرْضِ، وَجَارَ الدَّارِ هُوَ أَحَقُّ بِابْتِيَاعِهَا إِذَا أَقَامَ ثَمَنَهَا»
Through the same chain, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: "Whoever sells land or a house, the neighbour of the land and the neighbour of the house has more right to buy it, provided that he pays its price."
