Sulayman bin Samurah from his father
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7022 — from Sayyiduna Samurah; he said
اُردوEn
وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " إِنَّ الْأَنْبِيَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كُلُّ اثْنَيْنِ مِنْهُمْ خَلِيلَانِ دُونَ سَائِرِهِمْ، قَالَ: فَخَلِيلِي مِنْهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَلِيلُ اللهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "
Through the same chain, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him); he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: "On the Day of Resurrection, every two of the prophets will be special friends of each other, apart from the rest." He said: "On that day my special friend among them will be the Khalil (intimate friend) of Allah, Ibrahim (peace be upon him)."
