Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7023 — from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub

Through the same chain, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The prophets will vie in pride over which of them has more companions from his nation, and I hope that on that day those coming to me (at the Pond) will be the most numerous of them all. For on that day each of them will be standing at a full pond with a staff in his hand, calling those of his nation whom he recognizes; and every nation will have a mark by which its prophet will recognize them."
