Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6802 — the Prophet ﷺ said: A boy is held

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْغُلَامُ رَهْنٌ بِعَقِيقَتِهِ، يُعَقُّ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ سَابِعِهِ، وَيُحْلَقُ رَأْسُهُ وَيُسَمَّى»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A boy is held in pledge for his aqiqah; the aqiqah should be offered on his behalf on the seventh day, his head should be shaved, and he should be given a name."
