Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6803 — the Prophet ﷺ said: The buyer
اُردوEn
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ، ثنا قَتَادَةُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا، إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ بَيْعُهُمَا بِالْخِيَارِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The buyer and the seller both have the option (to cancel the sale) as long as they have not separated, unless their sale is made with a stipulated option."
