حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَرْبَعٍ خَلَوْنَ مِنْ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ، فَلَمَّا طَافُوا بِالْبَيْتِ وَبِالصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اجْعَلُوهَا عُمْرَةً» ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ التَّرْوِيَةِ لَبَّوْا بِالْحَجِّ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ طَافُوا بِالْبَيْتِ، وَلَمْ يَطُوفُوا بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ قِصَّةَ سُرَاقَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived (in Makkah) when four days of Dhu al-Hijjah had passed. When they had performed tawaf of the House of Allah and between Safa and Marwah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Make it an Umrah." When the Day of Tarwiyah came, they pronounced the talbiyah for Hajj, and when the Day of Sacrifice (Nahr) came, they performed tawaf of the House of Allah but did not perform tawaf between Safa and Marwah (again). (The narrator) did not mention the story of Sayyiduna Suraqah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him).
