حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، ثنا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ سَوَّارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: «خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَهْلَلْنَا بِالْحَجِّ مِنْ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ، وَأَهْلَلْنَا عَنِ الْوِلْدَانِ، وَطُفْنَا عَنْهُمْ، وَسَعَيْنَا عَنْهُمْ، ثُمَّ أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَحْلَلْنَا الْحِلَّ كُلَّهُ، حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَتْ عَشِيَّةُ التَّرْوِيَةِ أَهْلَلْنَا بِالْحَجِّ مِنَ الْبَطْحَاءِ» ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ قِصَّةَ سُرَاقَةَ بْنِ مَالِكٍ
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We set out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and we entered ihram for Hajj from Dhu al-Hulayfah, and we also entered ihram on behalf of the children, and performed tawaf and sa'i on their behalf. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered us, so we came out of ihram completely, until when it was the evening of the Day of Tarwiyah, we entered ihram for Hajj from al-Batha. (The narrator) did not mention the story of Sayyiduna Suraqah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him).
