باب فيما أعد الله من عقابه، وغضبه يوم القيامة لمن اغتصب مال مسلم، أو حلف عليه بيمين كاذبة
Chapter: The punishment and wrath Allah has prepared on the Day of Resurrection for one who seizes a Muslim's wealth or swears a false oath over it

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ، أَخْبَرَنِي قَيْسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْأَشْعَثِ، أَنَّ الْأَشْعَثَ بْنَ قَيْسٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ صَبْرٍ يَقْتَطِعُ بِهَا مَالَ امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ، لَقِيَ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ، عَفَا عَنْهُ، أَوْ عَاقَبَهُ»
Sayyiduna al-Ash'ath bin Qays (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever seizes the property of a Muslim man by a false oath will meet Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, while He is angry with him; then (as He wills) He will either pardon him or punish him."
