حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا ابْنُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيِّ، أنا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عِيسَى، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ أَبِي لَيْلَى، قَالَ: دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْتَ الصَّدَقَةِ، وَمَعَهُ حَسَنٌ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، فَأَخَذَ تَمْرَةً، فَوَضَعَهَا فِي فِيهِ، فَأَدْخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِصْبَعَهُ , فَأَخْرَجَهَا مِنْ فِيهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «إِنَّا أَهْلُ بَيْتٍ لَا تَحِلُّ لَنَا الصَّدَقَةُ»
Sayyiduna Abu Layla (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the house of charity, and Sayyiduna Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) was with him. He picked up a date and put it in his mouth, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) put his finger in and took it out of his mouth, then said: "We are a household for whom charity is not lawful."
