Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6334 — The two sons of Umayyah, Sayyiduna Ya'la

The two sons of Umayyah, Sayyiduna Ya'la and Sayyiduna Salamah (may Allah be pleased with them both), narrate: We set out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the expedition of Tabuk, and with us was a companion of ours from the people of Makkah. He fought with a man, and the man bit his forearm. He pulled his arm out of his mouth, and the man's two front teeth fell out. So he went to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to ask for the blood-money. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Does one of you go to his brother and bite him like a stallion camel bites, or as a stallion camel bites, and then come asking for blood-money? He has no right to it." So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) declared it void.
