Sayyiduna Salamah bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) with a group of his household and his children. They sought permission and entered, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Who are these people?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) was told: This is the delegation of the tribe of Anazah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Bakh, bakh, bakh (excellent)! What an excellent tribe Anazah is: they are wronged, yet they are given victory. Welcome to the people of Shu'ayb (peace be upon him) and the in-laws of Musa (peace be upon him). O Salamah, ask about your need." He said: I have come to ask you what you have made obligatory upon me in zakah on camels, goats and sheep. He (peace and blessings be upon him) told him. Then he sat near him (peace and blessings be upon him) for a while, then sought permission to leave, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Leave." He had only just stood up when he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah, grant Anazah sufficient provision, neither bare subsistence nor extravagance."
