It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salamah bin al-Muhabbiq (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man went to his wife's slave-girl, and the matter was brought before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: "If she yielded to him willingly, she remains a slave-girl, and her mistress is to receive the like of her; and if he forced her, she becomes free, and her mistress is to receive the like of her."
Ali (bin al-Madini) said: I said to Sufyan: But Qatadah narrates it from al-Hasan, from Qabisah bin Hurayth, from Salamah bin al-Muhabbiq. Sufyan said: Amr said: Between the two of them there is a person, or a man. Then al-Hudhali, meaning Abu Bakr al-Hudhali, said to him: Between the two of them is Qabisah bin Hurayth. Sufyan said: I only know this Hudhali because he is from the people of Salamah.
