حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، ثنا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ الشَّامِيُّ، ثنا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ هُنَيْدَةَ أَبُو الذَّيَّالِ الْعَدَوِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو نَعَامَةَ الْعَدَوِيُّ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أُمِّ الرَّائِحِ بِنْتِ صُلَيْعٍ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " صَدَقَتُكَ عَلَى الْمِسْكِينِ صَدَقَةٌ، وَصَدَقَتُكَ عَلَى ذِي الرَّحِمِ صَدَقَتَانِ: صَدَقَةٌ وَصِلَةٌ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salman bin Amir al-Dabbi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Your charity to the poor is charity, and your charity to a relative is two charities: one charity and one act of maintaining family ties."
