Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6180 — I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say

حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا يَحْيَى، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الضَّبِّيِّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " صَدَقَتُكَ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ صَدَقَةٌ، وَعَلَى ذِي الرَّحِمِ ثِنْتَانِ: صَدَقَةٌ وَصِلَةٌ "
Sayyiduna Salman bin Amir al-Dabbi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Your charity to a Muslim is charity, and to a relative it is two things: charity and the maintaining of family ties."
