حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بَرَّةَ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ، وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى التُّرْسِيُّ، قَالَا: أَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَادِقٍ، عَنْ عَلِيمٍ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: «أَوَّلُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ وُرُودًا عَلَى نَبِيِّهَا صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوَّلُهَا إِسْلَامًا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ»
Sayyiduna Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The first of this Ummah to come to its Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) will be the first of it to accept Islam: Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him)."
