حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا نُصَيْرُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الطَّائِيُّ، عَنِ الصَّلْتِ الدَّهَّانِ، عَنْ حَامِيَةَ بْنِ رَبَابٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَلْمَانَ، وَسُئِلَ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ ذَلِكَ: {بِأَنَّ مِنْهُمْ قِسِّيسِينَ ورُهْبانًا} [المائدة: ٨٢] ، قَالَ: " الرُّهْبانُ: الَّذِينَ فِي الصَّوَامِعِ "، قَالَ سَلْمَانُ: «نَزَلَتْ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ» : {ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنْهُمْ قِسِّيسِينَ ورُهْبانًا} [المائدة: ٨٢]
Hamiyah bin Rabab said: I heard Sayyiduna Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him) when he was asked about this saying of Allah Almighty: "That is because among them are priests and monks" [Surah al-Ma'idah: 82]. He said: The monks are those who live in hermitages. Sayyiduna Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: This verse was revealed to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): "That is because among them are priests and monks" [Surah al-Ma'idah: 82].
