Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6075 — the Prophet of Allah ﷺ said: Three things

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْفَسَوِيُّ، ثنا خَلَفُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ السَّرَخْسِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الصَّبَّاحِ عَبْدُ الْغَفُورِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ الرُّمَّانِيِّ، عَنْ زَاذَانَ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ، عَنْ نَبِيِّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " ثَلَاثَةٌ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ: الْفَخْرُ بِالْأَحْسَابِ، وَالطَّعْنُ فِي الْأَنْسَابِ، وَالنِّيَاحَةُ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Three things are from (the ways of) Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic ignorance): boasting about noble descent, slandering lineages, and wailing (over the dead)."
