زاذان أبو عمرو، عن سلمان رضي الله عنه
Zadhan Abu Amr from Salman (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6076 — the Prophet ﷺ said: There is no servant
اُردوEn
وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَرْتَفِعَ فِي الدُّنْيَا دَرَجَةً فَارْتَفَعَ، إِلَّا وَضَعَهُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِي الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرَ مِنْهَا» ، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ: {وَلَلْآخِرَةُ أَكْبَرُ دَرَجَاتٍ وَأَكْبَرُ تَفْضِيلًا} [الإسراء: ٢١]
Through the same chain it is narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no servant who wishes to be raised a rank in this world and is raised, except that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, lowers him in the Hereafter by more than that (in rank)." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "And the Hereafter is greater in ranks and greater in distinction" [Surah al-Isra: 21].
