حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَزَّارُ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ الْجُرْجَانِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى سَلْمَانَ فَرَأَيْتُ بَيْتَهُ رَثًّا، فَقَالَ لَهُ فِي ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ زَادُكُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا، كَزَادِ الرَّاكِبِ»
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: I went to Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) and found his house shabby, and he was spoken to about this. He said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took a pledge from me that your provision in this world should be like the provision of a traveller."
