وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَهْلَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ يَقُولُ: " مَا كَانَ يَوْمٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْنَا مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَقَالَ: إِنَّ عَجُوزًا كَانَتْ تَطْبُخُ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ أُصُولَ السِّلْقِ، وتَطْرَحُ عَلَيْهِ حَبَّاتٍ مِنْ شَعِيرٍ، فَكُنَّا إِذَا انْصَرَفْنَا مِنَ الْجُمُعَةِ، دَخَلْنَا فَأَكَلْنَا "
It is narrated with the same chain: I heard Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) say: "No day was dearer to us than Friday," and he said: An old woman used to cook the roots of chard on Friday and throw some grains of barley into it, so when we returned from the Friday prayer we would go to her and eat.
