حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّلْتِ الْكُوفِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِفَاطِمَةَ: «أَيْنَ بَعْلُكِ؟» ، فَقَالَتْ وَقَعَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ كَلَامٌ، فَخَرَجَ مُغاضَبًا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِرَجُلٍ: «أَبْصِرْ لِي عَلِيًّا» ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، هُوَ ذَا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، فَأَتَاهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالرِّيحُ يَسْفِي عَلَيْهِ التُّرَابَ، قَالَ: «قُمْ يَا أَبَا تُرَابٍ» ، قَالَ سَهْلٌ: فَوَاللهِ إِنْ كَانَ لَأَحَبَّ أَسْمَائِهِ إِلَيْهِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her): "Where is your husband?" She said: "Some words passed between me and him, and he left in anger." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to a man: "Find Ali for me." He said: "O Messenger of Allah, he is in the mosque." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went to him, and the wind was blowing dust over him. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Get up, O Abu Turab (father of dust)!" Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) said: By Allah, this was the name he loved most.
