حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: ذُكِرَ الشُّؤْمُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: «إِنْ كَانَ فِي شَيْءٍ، فَفِي الْمَسْكَنِ، وَالْفَرَسِ، وَالْمَرْأَةِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that ill omen was mentioned in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If there is ill omen in anything, it may be in a house, a horse and a woman."
