حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، أَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ، ثنا أَبُو حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، «أَنَّهُ كَانَ بَيْنَ الْمَسْجِدِ مِمَّا يَلِي الْقِبْلَةَ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ مَمَرُّ الشَّاةِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that between the qiblah-side part of the mosque and the qiblah wall there was enough space for a goat to pass.
